IN DEPTH
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses fine, controlled needles to create tiny micro-channels in the skin. These micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural wound healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that maintain the skin’s strength, elasticity and firmness.
Microneedling helps to rejuvenate the skin, improve texture and restore natural radiance. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth acne scars, minimise enlarged pores and address general skin dullness.
By creating micro-channels, microneedling also enhances the absorption of topical skincare products, allowing active ingredients to penetrate more deeply and work more effectively.
When followed as part of a personalised skincare plan, Microneedling it supports long-term skin health, helping to maintain a smoother, firmer and more resilient complexion over time.
RESULTS & TIMEFRAMES
Initial improvements in skin texture and hydration may be noticeable within 2–4 weeks. More significant results, such as reduction of fine lines, acne scars and improved skin tone, typically develop over 3–6 months.
A course of four treatments, spaced four weeks apart, is usually recommended for optimal results.
Maintenance treatments can be scheduled as needed to support long-term skin health.
