IN DEPTH

Platelet Rich Plasma is an advanced regenerative treatment that uses your body’s own growth factors to stimulate healing and tissue repair. A small blood sample is taken and processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the blood cells. This concentrated plasma is then injected or applied directly to the treatment area depending on your treatment goals.

PRP is rich in growth factors that stimulate collagen production, improve circulation and encourage cellular renewal. When used on the skin, it helps improve texture, firmness and overall skin quality while softening fine lines, acne scars and stretch marks. Under the eyes, PRP can improve dark circles, fine lines and skin quality by strengthening the delicate tissue.

When used on the scalp, PRP supports hair follicle health by improving blood supply, reducing inflammation and stimulating the hair growth cycle. This makes it particularly effective for hair thinning, early-stage hair loss and hair shedding.

As a natural treatment using your own plasma, PRP offers effective results with minimal downtime and a strong safety profile.

RESULTS & TIMEFRAMES

Mild improvements in hydration, scalp comfort and and skin texture may be seen within 1–2 weeks following treatment. More visible improvements in skin, hair quality and scalp health typically develop over 3–6 months as collagen production and follicular stimulation increase.

A course of four treatments, spaced four weeks apart, is usually recommended to achieve optimal results. Maintenance treatments are advised every 6–9 months to support long-term skin and hair health.

Arrive well hydrated and avoid alcohol. Your clinician will confirm treatment areas and goals on the day before proceeding.

A small blood sample is taken and processed using a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. The PRP is then carefully injected or applied topically to the treatment area depending on the indication.

The treatment is tailored to your skin or scalp needs and performed with comfort and safety in mind.

Mild redness, swelling or sensitivity may occur and usually settles within 24–48 hours. Avoid heat, sun exposure, strenuous exercise and active products for the recommended period.

Post-treatment guidance will be provided. Follow-up sessions will be scheduled as part of your course, with maintenance treatments advised to sustain results.
