IN DEPTH
Gummy Smile and Lip Flip treatments use Botulinum Toxin (Botox®) to relax specific muscles around the upper lip. In a gummy smile treatment, the muscle responsible for lifting the upper lip is gently relaxed, preventing the lip from elevating excessively and reducing the amount of gum visible when smiling. This also enhances the natural fullness of the upper lip without adding volume.

A Lip Flip works in a similar way but is designed for clients who do not show excess gum when smiling. The treatment relaxes the upper lip so that it gently rolls outward, creating the appearance of a fuller, more defined lip while maintaining natural movement. This can be an effective alternative to dermal filler for clients seeking subtle enhancement.

Both treatments can be performed alone or in combination with Dermal Filler Lip Enhancement for enhanced definition, balance and proportion. Treatment is carefully planned and administered by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner prescriber to ensure natural-looking results tailored to your facial anatomy.
