IN DEPTH
Gynecology scans assess the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes (where visible) and surrounding pelvic structures. They are used to investigate symptoms such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, suspected fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis or other gynecological concerns.

Scans may be performed transabdominally, requiring a moderately full bladder or transvaginally for more detailed imaging. Each scan is tailored to the individual’s symptoms and clinical history. Sonographers provide immediate observations and ensure privacy, comfort and patient safety throughout the procedure.

Endometrial Check - £90 | 10 minutes
This scan evaluates the thickness of the endometrium (lining of the womb) and is particularly suitable for patients undergoing embryo transfer or fertility treatment, ensuring the endometrium is at an optimal state before transfer.

Coil Location - £100 | 20 minutes
Confirms the correct placement of an intrauterine device (coil), providing reassurance and ensuring the device is correctly positioned.

Wellness Gynae Check - £100 | 30 minutes
A comprehensive ultrasound assessment that evaluates overall gynecological health. Ideal for monitoring conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, perimenopause or menopause and provides a baseline scan before fertility treatments. Patients receive a detailed report suitable for sharing with a GP or consultant.

Follicle Track - £80 | 30 minutes
Evaluates ovarian follicles to determine ovulation readiness and response to ovulation-enhancing medications. Typically 2–3 sessions are recommended to monitor treatment progress and optimise timing for conception.

Postpartum Gynae Check - £90 | 25 minutes
Ensures your post-birth recovery is on track, ideally performed 6 weeks after childbirth. This scan provides a thorough check of your reproductive health, offering reassurance and supporting your recovery journey.
