IN DEPTH
Our Blemish Removal service uses electrolysis and cryotherapy to treat unwanted skin lesions in a controlled and precise manner.
Electrolysis involves delivering a controlled electrical current through an ultra-fine needle directly into the blemish. This safely destroys the targeted tissue while preserving the surrounding skin, making it particularly effective for lesions such as milia, skin tags, red veins and sebaceous hyperplasia.

Cryotherapy works by applying controlled freezing to the targeted lesion, causing the abnormal tissue to break down and naturally shed over time. This method is commonly used for warts, verrucas, seborrhoeic keratoses, cherry angiomas and selected benign lesions.

Both techniques allow for accurate treatment with minimal impact on surrounding tissue, ensuring safe and effective results when performed by a trained medical professional.
RESULTS & TIMEFRAMES
Treated lesions may darken, shrink or form a small scab before naturally healing and shedding. This process typically occurs over 7–21 days, depending on the lesion type and size.
Results are generally permanent, although some lesions may require more than one session for complete resolution.
TREATMENT PATHWAY
Before your appointment
During your appointment
After your appoinment
A consultation is required to assess the lesion, confirm it is benign and determine the most appropriate treatment method. Medical history and skin type will be reviewed.
The area is cleansed and the selected treatment is performed. Each lesion is treated individually, with treatment times typically lasting 5–25 seconds per lesion, depending on size and type.
Mild redness, swelling or scabbing may occur and usually resolves within a few days to weeks. Aftercare guidance will be provided to support optimal healing and minimise the risk of pigmentation or scarring.
