IN DEPTH
During your consultation, your Nurse Prescriber and Menopause Specialist will undertake a comprehensive and structured assessment of your menopausal or perimenopausal symptoms. This includes a detailed discussion of your current symptoms, their impact on your quality of life, and your personal health and wellbeing goals.

A full review of your medical history will be completed, including past and current medical conditions, family history, current and previous medications and any relevant blood tests or investigations. Where available, existing results will be reviewed to support clinical decision-making and ensure safe prescribing.

Based on this assessment, you will receive a personalised and evidence-based treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. This may include hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal treatment options, lifestyle and nutritional guidance or recommendations for further investigations where clinically appropriate. If additional support is required, referrals or signposting to other services within the clinic or to your GP may be advised.

Throughout the consultation, time is taken to explain all treatment options clearly, including the potential benefits, risks and alternatives, allowing you to make fully informed decisions about your care. Patient safety, clinical appropriateness and individualised care are central to every stage of the consultation, ensuring treatment plans are medically sound and aligned with current clinical guidelines.
RESULTS & TIMEFRAMES
Initial assessment and guidance are provided during the 30-minute consultation. HRT or alternative treatment plans may take several weeks to achieve optimal symptom management.
Follow-up reviews are scheduled as clinically appropriate to monitor progress, adjust therapy and support long-term health.
